We have transformed in the area of the personal and professional value proposition we offer colleagues, both employed and self-employed. 

New employer brand

We launched our first global employer brand and Careers Portal to attract and retain great talent and ensure a high-quality experience when applying to join our Company. The website showcases why the business is a great place to work and the international opportunities available when candidates apply for roles.

Enhanced employee experience

We undertake a biennial Global People Survey and annual pulse surveys to measure colleague engagement, commitment and career aspirations. We take the findings of such engagement and use ithem to enhance our employee experience; for example, through creating global development programmes.

Developing our talent


Our ambition is for all our people to have fulfilling careers and that, as part of this, they have access to high-quality, relevant development opportunities; we believe that investing in employee development is an investment in the development of the entire organisation. 

We have developed and deployed Learning Academies which comprise structured development pathways for all our near-18,000 customer representatives and call centre colleagues.

We have also partnered with LinkedIn Learning and Harvard Business School to provide best-in-class development materials; and we host a group-wide Learning Festival annually, featuring 70 online multi-language events. The most recent Festival attracted 5,000 colleagues to learn about diversity and inclusion, business growth, innovation and leadership.
