IPF’s consumer credit business in Poland, Provident Polska, has been awarded the nation’s SuperBiznes Golden Laurel in the Social Initiative category for its flagship charity event, ProviRun for Invisibles.
The award recognises the positive impact of ProviRun – a charity run that raises funds for the Gajusz Foundation, which provides care and support for terminally ill children through its home and inpatient hospices.
Edyta Jankiewicz and Radosław Kacprzak, the creators and main organisers of ProviRun, accepted the award on behalf of Provident Polska at a ceremony attended by government ministers and business leaders.
“ProviRun brings people together to make a difference for families who need it most,” said Edyta Jankiewicz. “This recognition belongs to everyone who takes part, donates, or volunteers their time to support the Gajusz Foundation.”
Launched in Łódź in 2018, ProviRun has grown from a local initiative into an annual event celebrated across all IPF markets. In Poland, the run now attracts around 500 participants, including employees and their families, media personalities and sports celebrities. All funds raised through participation fees, donations and sponsorships go directly to the Gajusz Foundation — with Provident Polska donating nearly £50,000 to date.
ProviRun is a key part of IPF’s Volunteering and Financial Inclusion programme, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive difference in the communities where our customers and colleagues live and work.
