IPF colleagues step up to raise €50,000 for local communities

Colleagues from across International Personal Finance’s ten markets came together during the Group’s annual Volunteer and Financial Inclusion Month to combine physical activity with social impact, resulting in €50,000 raised to support local causes through our global Invisibles community programme.

The 2025 ProviRun included all Provident markets in Europe and the Group’s head office in Leeds, UK, where colleagues, friends and families joined forces to run for local causes. In total, 2,060 people participated in ProviRun events this year, raising €39,000 for charitable organisations, many of which support children and families facing health or social challenges.

While some colleagues were running, others were walking, cycling and hiking as part of two additional challenges:

  • IPF Digital’s Kilometre Challenge: 84 colleagues set out to cover 10,000 kilometres and surpassed it by logging 15,565 kilometres. Their achievement unlocked a €10,000 donation to support local Invisibles initiatives across IPF Digital’s seven markets.
  • UK Step Challenge: In Leeds, 33 colleagues stepped up and collectively reached 12 million steps, securing a £1,000 donation for a local NGO.

Meanwhile, 25 colleagues in Mexico volunteered their time to help more than 30,000 people in Mérida by preparing and delivering much-needed food parcels in partnership with Foodbank Mérida.

Gergely Mikola, Corporate Affairs Director, who joined one of the ProviRun events in Prague, praised the dedication shown across the business: “It was truly inspiring to see so many colleagues, families and friends take part—despite the rain! Thank you all for making such a powerful contribution to your communities.”
