IPF Digital’s Mobile Wallet launched in Mexico

International Personal Finance’s (IPF) leading digital consumer credit business, IPF Digital, has launched its Mobile Wallet in Mexico.

The mobile wallet, which is already available to customers in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, provides consumers with bank-like facilities on their mobile phone and the ability to manage their daily finances and revolving credit facility.  Customers using the new app can see their day-to-day financial transactions, pay bills and use their credit line when they need it.  It also helps customers stay on track and keep their credit score in good standing by enabling them to easily access their balance and statements and receive repayment reminder notifications.

Mexico is one of most advanced markets in terms of smartphone adoption and the mobile wallet, operated under IPF Digital’s leading Creditea brand, has been developed specifically for consumers who are underbanked and underserved by other mainstream financial services companies.

Commenting on the new product launch, Creditea Mexico’s Country Manager, Ignacio Deluna, said: “Our mobile wallet is unique to the consumers we serve and supports the important role we play in creating financial inclusion. By offering this new product we are equipping customers with a convenient tool to manage their credit offering and for the business, it offers a competitive advantage within our consumer segment.”
